Jim Walt, MA, MFT - California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1982. Jim retired as a full Professor at John F. Kennedy University, in the Graduate School of Professional Psychology, in 2006, having taught there since 1990. Jim is an Advisor and Trainer at ICCE (International Center for Clinical Excellence), an organization focused on clinical excellence in mental health care, and based on the work of Scott Miller. Jim is a seasoned presenter, who highlights current research and procedures that enable practitioners to improve their effectiveness in private practice and agency settings, and reduce professional burnout.
